Want to join us?
From experience, the ideal candidate will have:
- The expertise to engineer, develop, and troubleshoot large production-grade distributed systems on Google Cloud Platform, and select the appropriate tools to tackle business problems at the right scale
- Designing, building and testing cloud native applications on GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
- Strong network experience, familiar with cloud network patterns such as VPC, networks and shared networks, subnets, peering and firewalls
- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of cloud related technologies and can articulate best practice approaches and practices
- Experience troubleshooting Linux machines (e.g., system resource management, storage and file systems, network configuration)
- Experience collaborating with developers and platform engineers, contributing to architecture and continuously optimizing infrastructure to remove bottlenecks and improve automation
- A programming background with shell scripts and one or more of the following: Java, Ruby, Python, Go, or Rust
- Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect (a plus!)
