Dan Birnbaum

Dan Birnbaum is a seasoned professional in the entertainment and technology sectors, currently serving as Senior Manager of Content Strategy at Dolby Laboratories since July 2015. Previously, Dan held the role of Senior Manager of Business Development at Technicolor, where responsibilities included securing multi-million dollar deals and launching a global digital content management platform. Dan also managed operations for Technicolor 3D, achieving a remarkable 230% increase in earnings within a year and implementing workflow efficiencies that reduced overhead costs. Notable experiences include participation as a panelist at TED Conferences and serving as Graduate Associate at The Walt Disney Company, where Dan improved workflow for digital operations. Dan is the co-founder and former CEO of SightCine and began a successful career in visual effects production with Birnbaum VFX. Dan holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BS in Film from Northwestern University.
