Scott Porad

Scott Porad has worked in the technology industry since 1995. Scott began their career as a Web Developer at Yoyodyne Entertainment and Small World Software in 1995 and 1996, respectively. In 1996, they were a Technical Producer for ESPN.com at Starwave Corporation. From 1998 to 2007, they were employed at drugstore.com, holding roles such as Sr. Director of IT Operations, Sr. Director of Product Management and Director of Site Merchandising, and Group Manager of Site Development and Manager of Platform Web Development. From 2007 to 2013, they were the CTO of Cheezburger Network, where they led a team of 40 people and was responsible for product development. From 2013 to 2020, they were the CTO of Rover.com, where they led a team of 150 engineers. In 2020, they became the Vice President of Engineering at 98point6 Inc., and in 2021 they were appointed Chief Technology Officer at Dolly Inc. Additionally, since 2005, Scott has been an Executive Coach and Technical Advisor at scottporad.com, working with companies on their online and Internet initiatives.

Scott Porad received their Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Washington in 1995, after studying there from 1991 to 1995.
