Grigory Zhirnov

Grigory Zhirnov is currently the Head of Market Research at DOM.RF Bank, where they oversee macroeconomic and real estate research, manage a team, and engage in public commentary. Previously, they served as Chief Economist at VTB Capital, specializing in emerging markets and macroeconomics. Grigory has also worked as an Analyst at Nordea Markets and held internship positions at PwC Russia and Bain & Company. In addition to their professional roles, they lectured on Macroeconomics II at the New Economic School. Grigory earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a Master's degree in Financial Economics from the Higher School of Economics.
