Carlos M. Brown

SVP, Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel at Dominion Energy

Carlos M. Brown is the Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel at Dominion Energy. Prior to joining Dominion Energy, Carlos served as the Chairman of the IB Advisory Committee for the Henrico County School District from January 2015 to December 2016. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing a $2 million budget for the district's IB program.

From August 2009 to July 2013, Carlos served on the Board of Christopher Newport University, a regional transportation and facilities management authority whose assets include two metropolitan toll roads and the regional baseball stadium. Carlos also served as the Chairman of the Board for the Richmond Metropolitan Authority from January 2011 to December 2015. In this role, they oversaw a $2 million budget for the Authority's operations.

Most recently, Carlos served as a Director on the Commonwealth Transportation Board of the Commonwealth of Virginia from July 2015 to December 2019. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the state's transportation budget and policy initiatives.
