Gautam Tevatia

Gautam Tevatia is a Senior Director of Strategic Finance at DoorDash. Gautam was previously a Vice President at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking division, where they advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, private placements, debt and equity financing, and other transactions.

During their time at Goldman Sachs, Tevatia worked on a number of high-profile deals, including Cisco's acquisition of Duo Security for $2.35 billion, SAP's acquisition of Callidus Software for $2.5 billion, and Qualcomm's defense against Broadcom's hostile takeover attempt. Gautam also led the bookrunning team for Keysight Technologies' $1.2 billion acquisition financing for Ixia.

In addition to their transaction work, Tevatia also served as Business Unit Manager for the Investment Banking division's West Region, overseeing 150 bankers in the Los Angeles and San Francisco offices. In this role, they were responsible for allocating resources to client projects, monitoring junior banker workloads, and addressing conflicts. Gautam also conducted annual performance reviews, led compensation and promotion discussions, and worked with senior partners to develop business strategy and review compliance controls.

Tevatia has a proven track record of success in both transaction work and people management. Gautam is a strategic thinker who is able to see the big picture and develop creative solutions to complex problems.

Gautam Tevatia has an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Gautam has a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Southern California. Gautam has a B. Engg. in Electrical Engineering from Panjab University. Gautam also attended DAV College in Chandigarh, India and St. John's High School in Chandigarh, India.
