Kara Fong

Kara Fong is a seasoned design leader currently serving as the Senior Design Director at DoorDash since September 2022. In this role, Kara oversees a diverse group of design functions, including Design Systems, Content Design, and Customer Experience teams. Previously, Kara spent over seven years at Meta, where duties included leading a team of over 70 Design Program Managers and Producers, focusing on strategic design programs across the Facebook App. Prior experience includes positions at Microsoft as PM II, where Kara contributed to the development of UI and UX for Office on iOS and Mac, as well as an Engineering Program Manager Intern role at NetApp. Kara is an alumna of the University of Washington.
