Zhiyuan Zhu

Zhiyuan Zhu, CFA, FRM, has extensive experience in trading and risk management within the energy and commodities sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Dow since January 2017, Zhiyuan is responsible for trading and hedging feedstocks and derivatives primarily in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. Previous roles at Dow include NGLs Trader and Commodity Risk Analyst, where Zhiyuan developed machine learning-based price forecast models and managed exposure to various feedstock prices. Zhiyuan also worked as a Project Manager at the Chair Management of Network Industries, focusing on digital systems and business development, and contributed to business development at AIESEC Lausanne. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from ETH Zürich and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from EPFL.
