Michelle Pusateri

Michelle Pusateri has extensive experience in recreation management, currently serving as the Superintendent of Recreation at Downers Grove Park District since April 2007, overseeing a team of eight staff across various program areas such as Special Events, Gymnastics, and Early Childhood. Previously, Michelle held roles including Recreation Center Manager and Lincoln Center Manager, where responsibilities included facility operations, staff supervision, and program oversight. Prior experience includes a Community Program Intern position at Urbana Park District and multiple roles at Paris Community YMCA, focusing on aquatic and gymnastics instruction. Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
