Associate Director of Cybersecurity and Information technology at Dragonfly Therapeutics

Salaam Harris has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in cybersecurity and information technology. They started their career in 2014 at Raytheon as a Systems Engineer, providing operational maintenance and support for various weapon systems. In 2016, they joined Northrop Grumman as a Cyber Security/Systems Engineer, where they installed and configured security components and provided day-to-day support for RHEL systems. Later, in 2017, they joined South Shore Health as a Cyber Security Engineer/Team Lead, managing the security infrastructure and leading the Security Operations team. Salaam then worked for Dragonfly Therapeutics, Inc. and Skyhawk Therapeutics as a Senior Cyber Security Manager and Associate Director of Cybersecurity and Information Technology, respectively. Currently, they are working as a Cybersecurity Consultant at Skyhawk Therapeutics. Salaam also has prior military experience, serving in the United States Air Force as a Fighter Jet Mechanic, Cyber Systems Operations Administrator, and First Sergeant Retired.

Salaam Harris holds a Master's degree in Cyber Security from Southern New Hampshire University, which was completed between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from American Military University from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, they obtained an Associate's degree in Cyber Systems Operations from the Community College of the Air Force between 2009 and 2011. Salaam has also attained certifications as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) from EC-Council in June 2021 and holds a CompTIA Security+ certification.
