Ankit Billa

Ankit Billa has a diverse range of work experience. Most recently, they worked as a Software Engineer - Computer Vision at Dragonfruit AI starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania from January 2022 to May 2023, where they worked on Egocentric Motion Tracking for 3D Scene Interactions. Ankit also gained experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at Standard AI from June 2022 to December 2022.

Ankit has also held positions as an Executive Body Member at PEC ACM Student Chapter from July 2020 to June 2021, a Research Fellow at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and Fraunhofer IOSB from January 2020 to June 2021, and as a Student Training & Placement Coordinator and Teaching Assistant at Punjab Engineering College from January 2019 to June 2021.

Furthermore, Ankit has worked as a Data Scientist at EY for a brief period in May 2019, and as a Software Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services in December 2018.

Ankit Billa completed their Master of Science (MS) in Computer & Information Science from the University of Pennsylvania from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from Punjab Engineering College from 2017 to 2021. Ankit also completed their Class 12 education at Vivek High School, Chandigarh from 2015 to 2017. Ankit'sprimary education up to Class 10 was obtained at The Lawrence School, Sanawar from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Ankit has also earned several certifications. Ankit completed courses such as "Building Recommender Systems with Machine Learning and AI," "Introduction to Deep Learning," and "Learning Generative Adversarial Networks" from Udemy in 2019. Ankit also obtained a certification in "Programming Using Python" from Codecademy in 2018.
