Mike Maudsley

Mike is responsible for leading the operation of Drax’s portfolio of generation assets – Drax Power Station, Cruachan Power Station, four combined cycle gas turbines (CCGTs), Daldowie Fuel Plant and two run-of-river hydro schemes.

He has held senior leadership positions, most recently in the Middle East with ENGIE, where Mike was responsible for multiple power plants. During his time in Oman and Dubai, he focused on improving profitability through driving operational excellence and a strong asset management ethos.

Mike is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow in Engineering with IMechE and has an MBA from Aston Business School.
