Medical supply distribution provider Droppe has announced it has added Tuukka Strömberg to its growing sales team as a Sales Representative. In the role, Tuukka will report directly to company Co-founder, CEO & Strategic Partnerships Johannes Salmisaari, and be based out of Helsinki, Finland.
After school, Tuukka joined the military. After his service, he started working as a military instructor in the Reserve Officer School in Finland. After a few years, he started studying business, which had always been a passion of his. Tuukka attended the Turku School of Economics and landed his first business-related job as a digital marketing trainee at a certain golf course. He then worked at Studystreams Oy with Eero Laitinen, and soon after that, Johannes Salmisaari, CEO of Droppe, contacted him and gave him the opportunity to join the team.
When commenting about joining the team at Droppe, Tuukka said, "I am pleased to help my good friend to grow his business and also being a part fighting the global pandemic! It has been a good lesson about global markets and companies and public communities supply- and procurement chains. I believe that even if it’s not our company's industry, this is a really good opportunity for me to learn and to grow also my own business."
As a sales representative, Tuukka's ultimate goal is to help companies find required medical supplies and diversify potential supply flow risks. The key three activities are to seek customers, holistically validate customer concerns and connect them with suitable suppliers. The Sales Representative role is responsible for driving revenue by working collaboratively with the Global Sales Team to ensure that sales targets are achieved. He will create, seek & develop connections across clients and major wholesalers and distribution groups in his area.
In his time outside of work, Tuukka is a passionate golf amateur and reservist. If he’s not working or studying, you will probably find him at the golf course no matter the time or the weather. Tuukka also enjoys meditation, learning, and spending time with his friends and family.
