Michael Potvin

Michael Potvin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and innovation within the health and nutrition sectors. Currently serving as Associate Director of Global Product Management at dsm-firmenich since March 2025, Michael is responsible for developing and executing a long-term portfolio strategy that aligns with growth ambitions and supply chain priorities. Michael also drives cross-functional collaboration and manages strategic supplier relationships. Prior to this role, Michael held several positions within dsm-firmenich and DSM, including Senior Innovation Project Director and Innovation Project Director, as well as Director of Analytical and Sensory Sciences. Michael began a career in research and development as Director at Ocean Nutrition Canada from 2003 to 2012. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Dalhousie University, earned between 1997 and 2002.
