Tina Chakma

Tina Chakma is a legal professional with extensive experience in counsel roles, currently serving as Counsel for Legal Risk and Compliance at Dubai World Trade Centre since January 2023. Previously, Tina held the position of In-House Counsel at Electra Events & Exhibitions from January 2017 to December 2022 and worked as an Associate at Mahmood Hussain Advocates and Legal Consultancy from 2014 to December 2016. Tina has also gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant at the National University of Singapore and as a Legal Trainee at Bird & Bird, where involvement included significant litigation matters in Singapore. Earlier roles include an Associate position at Kochhar & Co, focusing on litigation, and an internship at the Securities Exchange Board of India. Tina holds an LLM in Corporate and Financial Services from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Laws from the National Law Institute University in Bhopal.
