Jesse Jarvis

Jesse Jarvis is a dedicated graduate research assistant currently affiliated with Duke University's Social Science Research Institute, a position held since August 2024. Previously, Jesse served as a caseworker at ACCESS - Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services, providing employment and educational services, and as a program assistant in the TRIO Upward Bound Program. Notable experience also includes work as a parliamentary assistant for the House of Commons of Canada, where Jesse conducted research, analyzed policy issues, and prepared documentation. Additional roles included site director at KinderCare Learning Companies, site coordinator at Urban Neighborhood Initiatives, and various positions in functions ranging from field organizing to electrical and data technician roles. Jesse is pursuing a Master of Public Policy at Duke University, after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Sciences from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
