Erik Ekwurzel

Chief Technology Officer, Government Solutions at Dun & Bradstreet

Erik Ekwurzel is the Chief Technology Officer of Dun & Bradstreet Government Services. Erik is responsible for all aspects of technology and technical services provided by Dun & Bradstreet to ensure the secure, compliant, and mission-applicable flow of Dun & Bradstreet data and analytics to the Government. The data industry in our era is as much about security as it is about relevance, accuracy, refresh rate, and completeness. Erik is accountable for the implementation of complex solutions for some of Dun & Bradstreet’s largest government customers including SBA, TSA, DHS, DoD, and Intel. Earlier in his career at Dun & Bradstreet, Erik designed, implemented, and managed products for Dun & Bradstreet’s global customer base, several of which are still in production, including Quick Data Services, Private Data Portal, and the Customer Insight platform. Erik joined Dun & Bradstreet in 2001 when Dun & Bradstreet acquired an internet data distribution startup where Erik led a professional services team responsible for a multi-million dollar portfolio. Erik attended Columbia College and University of Pittsburgh and holds a BA in Philosophy of Science, with a concentration in Mathematics. Erik currently lives in Maryland with his Wife, Elina, and Son, Matthew. Erik is always looking for fellow chess players who also play on-line since playing against a computer these days is both boring and, ultimately, futile.
