Jaco van der Merwe

Jaco van der Merwe is the CEO of DVT, a global software solutions company that employs over 600 staff and operates across multiple countries, including South Africa, Kenya, and the UK. With more than 20 years of ICT experience, Jaco specializes in software development and related services and has been actively involved in academia as an external examiner and part-time lecturer at the University of Johannesburg. Holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the same institution, Jaco has contributed to numerous conferences and publications in the fields of Information Security, Mobile Banking, eCommerce, and AI. Currently, Jaco leads DVT's mission to positively impact clients' digital technology transformation journeys through a comprehensive range of services.
