Dr. Armen Katchatryan appointed to Dymicron Board of Directors

Medical device company Dymicron has announced the appointment of Dr. Armen Katchatryan to its Board of Directors. "We are delighted to welcome Dr. Khachatryan to Dymicron's Board," said Dymicron Chairman and CEO Alan Layton. "Dr. Khachatryan's highly accomplished track record and vast experience with cervical arthroplasty will be tremendously helpful to our company as we prepare for FDA clinical trials in the US and commercialization in select countries outside the US with our CE Mark." Dr. Katchatryan is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, with extensive experience in minimally invasive procedures, motion preservation technology, artificial disc replacement and non-fusion technologies. He has been a clinical investigator in a range of FDA clinical trials and has helped to train hundreds of surgeons advanced spinal surgery techniques. Dymicron Adds Industry Veteran Ted Bird to Leadership Team

Medical device manufacturer Dymicron has announced the appointment of Ted Bird as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development, and Chief Strategy Officer. In the role, Bird will oversee Dymicron's corporate strategy, business & market development, investor relations, marketing, and commercialization. He will be based out of Charleston, SC, and report directly to company President and Chief Operating Officer at Dymicron Jeff Bennett. Bird brings over 35 years of global commercial experience in the medical device space to the team at Dymicron. He most recently was the Chief Commercial Officer at Titan Spine and prior to that served in leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson as well as Medtronic. "I am excited to join the Dymicron team to help introduce an extraordinary next-generation artificial cervical disc to the global spine community. This product is unique in the market due to its innovative composition, which utilizes a proprietary polycrystalline diamond material, and its patented Tri-Lobe articulating design.
