Senior Technical Writer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for writing clear, concise, and accurate technical documentation for our product. The new person will work closely with software developers, product managers, and engineers to translate complex technical information into user-friendly content.

Your daily life:

• Development of product guides with instructions for Dynamo, training materials, and work instructions

• Writing of technical information in a way that is easy to understand for non-technical audiences

• Work as part of a multifunctional team to gather and organize information necessary for developing product documentation, as well as ensuring the technical accuracy of this content

• Review and edit of content developed by other team members to verify accuracy of the content

• Generate innovative ideas for content and document workflow solutions and implements new processes

• Test the software product and prepare the content of technical documentation in accordance with the developed concepts

• Manage and guide junior team members, technical writers, in their daily work tasks

• Keep up with modern technology trends and work specifics in the field of technical communication

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in English Philology, Journalism, Communication Sciences, or a related field

• Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken)

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a technical writer or a similar position in a software company

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Experience with XML-based software solutions for technical documentation, such as Madcap Flare

• Knowledge of HTML and CSS

• Experience with content management systems such as WordPress and Wiki-based solutions

• Knowledge of software product development practices and processes such as Lean/Agile

• Excellent writing skills

• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and concepts

• Excellent interpersonal communication in collaboration with software developers, project managers, and other workflow participants

• Ability to prioritize work tasks and communicate the corresponding prioritization

• Ability to work in a team, as well as independently manage and execute tasks
