Tim Nierengarten

Tim Nierengarten has extensive experience in commercial sales leadership, currently serving as Executive Director - Commercial Sales Leader at Dynavax Technologies since 2018. Nierengarten has steadily advanced through various leadership roles within Dynavax, including Senior Director and Director positions focused on the Central US market. Previous roles include District Manager at both Depomed, Inc. and Ameritox, along with a notable tenure at Purdue Pharma L.P. as a District Manager and Professional Sales Representative. Nierengarten began a career in sales at Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals and Federated Insurance, earlier holding a marketing representative position. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Psychology from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, attained from 2000 to 2004.
