Carlos Goncalves

Carlos Goncalves is an accomplished business professional with extensive experience in the mining and explosives industries. Currently serving as GM of Business Development for Dyno Nobel since November 2025, Carlos previously held multiple senior roles at AECI Mining from March 2010 to November 2025, including Managing Director for LATAM and Head of Procurement. Carlos has also worked at DetNet South Africa, where responsibilities included Global Technical Support Manager and Conversion Engineer. Academic qualifications include an Executive Master of Business Administration from Henley Business School, a Senior Management Development Programme from GIBS Business School, a Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Management from the University of South Africa, a Programme in Project Management from Unisa Graduate School of Business Leadership, and a National Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Tshwane University of Technology.
