Reid Blackman, Ph.D., is the Founder and CEO of Virtue Consultants, focusing on developing and implementing Responsible AI and AI ethical risk programs for enterprises. Blackman serves as an Advisor to the Canadian government on federal AI regulations as part of the AI and Data Act and is a keynote speaker represented by Stern Strategy Group. As an author, Blackman published "Ethical Machines: Your Concise Guide to Totally Unbiased, Transparent, and Respectful AI" through Harvard Business Review Press and contributes articles on AI ethics. Blackman also creates and hosts "Ethical Machines: The Podcast" and advises various organizations, including Equideum Health and EthicsGrade, on ethical risks related to AI and blockchain. With previous senior advisory roles at Deloitte and EY, Blackman holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from The University of Texas at Austin and additional degrees from Northwestern University and Cornell University.
