Emma Son

Emma Son is a diligent professional with diverse experience in the medical and education sectors, currently serving as an Emergency Medical Technician at Eagle Ambulance since March 2024. Previously, Emma worked as a Laboratory Intern at Berkeley Lab, focusing on DNA extraction from air samples, and as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, exploring nutritional regulation in preclinical models. Emma's earlier roles include a Brand Ambassador at GT's Living Foods, a Medical Research Intern at Berkeley Pharma Tech, and a Teacher Assistant at ARCHEACADEMY SL. Notably, Emma also founded and led the ESL Reading Club, contributing over $1,000 to educational initiatives in Uganda through innovative nonprofit ventures. Emma is pursuing dual Bachelor's degrees in Molecular Environmental Biology and Nutrition and Metabolic Biology at the University of California, Berkeley.
