Leigh J. Griffin

Leigh J. Griffin, Ph.D., serves as the Director of Early Childhood and Project Manager at the East Baton Rouge Parish School System since 2014, overseeing the implementation of goals and activities under the ACT 3 grant to enhance early learning standards and quality ratings. Additionally, Leigh is an Adjunct Professor at Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge and previously held the position of Assistant Professor of Education, focusing on research, instruction, and grant administration in various educational courses. Prior experience includes roles as a Curriculum Resource Teacher at Charter Schools USA and a 2nd Grade Teacher at Zachary Community Schools. Leigh holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Research from Louisiana State University, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from Southern University.
