Abdullah Alyafawi

Abdullah Alyafawi is a seasoned engineer with significant leadership experience in the aerospace and medical device industries. Currently serving as Chief Engineer and Engineering Manager for the R&D sector at Eaton Aerospace since June 2021, Abdullah has previously held the position of Engineering Manager for Fuel Tank Intering at Cobham Mission Systems from April 2014 to October 2024. Abdullah's expertise encompasses managing engineering teams, developing technology roadmaps, and overseeing the research and development of innovative products. Previous roles include Senior Mechanical Engineer and Senior Systems Engineer at Advanced Bionics, as well as research positions at Binghamton University and Turbine Services Ltd. Abdullah holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Binghamton University and a Master’s in Applied Polymer Science from Martin Luther University, along with a Professional Certificate in Architecture and Systems Engineering from MIT xPRO.
