Ryan Gillooly

Ryan Gillooly is a Principal of Corporate Development, at Echo Health Ventures, where he plays a key role in transaction execution. Ryan is a leader in Echo's efforts on strategic investments, recapitalizations, divestitures and acquisitions – helping source, analyze, negotiate and execute those investments. Ryan was previously a Senior Investment Analyst at Mosaic Health Solutions

Prior to Mosaic, Ryan spent two years with J.P. Morgan Securities in New York City. He was an investment banking analyst in the healthcare group working on a variety of transaction structures across the health care space. Notable transaction experience includes United Surgical Partners International's refinancing and division spin-off; Orthofix International's $158 million divestiture of Breg to Water Street Partners; Quintiles Transnational's $300 million senior secured term loan refinancing; and Idenix Pharmaceuticals' $176 million follow-on offering.

Ryan earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ryan lives with his wife and daughter in Raleigh and enjoys surfing, snowboarding, UNC basketball, and playing golf.
