André D. is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in electrical engineering and embedded systems. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at EcoG since June 2024, André previously held the position of CTO and Embedded Tech Lead at Switch from April 2021 to June 2024, where leadership in engineering teams facilitated the development of the innovative Josev product for EV charging. Prior experience includes roles at The Mobility House as a Software Engineer focusing on smart charging applications, hardware development at the European Southern Observatory, and engineering trainee positions at Siemens in software and hardware development related to electric vehicle charging solutions. André's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, alongside notable projects on energy efficiency in computing environments.
