Alexandre Duran I Grant

Alexandre Duran i Grant is an experienced leader and advocate for sustainable development in Mallorca, currently serving as President of Ecotxe, an electric carsharing cooperative, since November 2015. Alexandre is also a board member of S'Altra Senalla, focusing on marketing strategies for Fair Trade and organic products, and Mercat Social Illes Balears, aiming to establish a social market in the region. In previous roles, Alexandre has contributed as a Communications Officer and Coordinator for Mallorca at Som Energia, and as a vice-president for Fiare Banca Etica Illes Balears. Alexandre’s board memberships and engagements reflect a strong commitment to promoting a solidarity economy, sustainable mobility, and renewable energy initiatives. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Communication and Media Studies from IEBS Biztech School, alongside degrees in Ecological Economics and Economics from various esteemed institutions.
