Philip Weissman

Philip Weissman is the New York City Director of Aviation and VP at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, where they oversee the city's aviation assets and policy guidance. Previously, Philip served as an aviation-focused attorney, gaining experience in litigation and regulation at various law firms including Clyde & Co and Skarzynski Marick & Black LLP. Philip is actively involved in the aviation legal community, holding positions such as Chair and Secretary of the Aeronautics Committee with the New York City Bar Association and Newsletter Officer for the International Bar Association’s Aviation Law Committee. Additionally, Philip founded Advanced Air Mobility Professionals, focusing on supporting the advanced air mobility industry. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Boston University and a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Duke University School of Law.
