Jane Canny

Jane Canny is the current Chief Executive of Thanku Digital at Edcon. Jane has held this position since July 2018. Prior to that, they were the Chief Digital Officer at Edcon from June 2018 to October 2020. Before that, they worked at Hollard Group Risk and The Spar Group. Jane is also an Independent Executive Director and Consultant. Jane has been in this role since October 2020. Prior to that, they were the Group Chief Operating Officer and Group Executive for EMEA at Business Connexion from March 2014 to September 2016.

Jane Canny has a FCIS from Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators, a certification from ICSA Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa in FCG (CS, CPG, ACC) - Fellow of Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa, and they attended Wykeham School; Pietermaritzburg.
