Deanna Tallon

Deanna Tallon is a highly experienced professional in climate and sustainability communications, currently serving as Managing Director at Edelman since May 2021. In this role, Deanna is responsible for advancing the firm's climate principles and sustainability strategy, including establishing an independent climate expert advisory council and developing mandatory climate training in collaboration with Columbia University’s Climate School. Previously, Deanna held the position of Chief Communications Officer at SYSTEMIQ Ltd., where the focus was on transforming economic systems for a sustainable future. Deanna's extensive tenure at Edelman from 2007 to 2019 included roles as Senior Adviser to the Global COO, Chief of Staff, and Vice President of Editorial and Creative. Deanna began a career in journalism at the Los Angeles Times, achieving recognition for investigative reporting. Deanna holds a BA in East Asian Studies from Barnard College and is currently completing Executive Education in Climate Change Economics and Governance at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
