John Roa

John Roa is the current Accounting Manager at Eden Reforestation Projects. Prior to that, they were the Senior Accountant at Fuller Theological Seminary from October 2018 to June 2021. There, they were responsible for monthly bank reconciliations, helped automate parts of the bank posting process, assisted in the month end and year end closes by maintaining various account schedules and entering journal entries, worked directly with the Director of Accounting to resolve accounting issues and provide guidance to other departments, and was responsible for modifying, streamlining and modernizing accounting processes through spreadsheets and fully utilizing systems and databases at the institution. John also played a key role in planning, implementing, rolling out, and maintaining Concur Solutions system for travel and expenses for the seminary. Prior to their time at Fuller Theological Seminary, John Roa was the Cash Management Supervisor at Western Dental & Orthodontics from May 2015 to October 2018, and before that they were Corporate Accountant at Prime Care Dental Management from January 2008 to June 2015. John started their career as a Staff Accountant at Premier Dental Management from September 2006 to December 2007.

John Roa has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Accounting from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
