James Law

James Law is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the nuclear and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Chief Training Officer and Senior Manager for Major Projects at EDF (UK) since July 2020, James oversees financial planning and major projects while fostering strong client relationships. Previously, James held roles at EDF and STS Defence Limited, including Senior Training Consultant and Business Manager, where responsibilities included strategic growth and managing specialized teams. James's background includes significant expertise in nuclear reactor engineering, acquired as a Senior Lecturer at the Defence College of Management & Technology and an Engineering Officer in the Royal Navy, where James managed nuclear-powered submarines. James holds several advanced degrees, including an MSc in Nuclear Reactor Technology & Safety Management from Cranfield University, and a BEng (Hons) in Electro-mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton.
