Gilles Dumont

Gilles Dumont is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector with extensive experience in technical and commercial roles. Currently serving as the Senior Technico Commercial Lead at EDF Renouvelables since October 2024, Gilles previously held multiple positions at juwi Group, including Head of Business Development and Head of Sales for Hybrid & Offgrid Systems. Prior experience includes roles as Technical Manager & Project Developer at BioTherm Energy, where focus was on the utility and C&I sector in Africa, and as Operation Manager and Global Renewable Energy Engineer at Emergent Energy, specializing in energy solutions for Southern African enterprises. Gilles’s earlier career includes project management with Bouygues, overseeing various infrastructure projects, and as Project Manager Assistant at Solar Turbines in Belgium. Gilles holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from Icam - Institut Catholique d'Arts et Métiers and ICAM Toulouse, with expertise in mechanical, electrical, and production management.
