Ari Koponen

Ari Koponen serves as a Member of Parliament in Finland, actively participating in the Committee for the Future, the Education and Culture Committee, and as a Deputy Member of the Agriculture and Forestry Committee since April 2019. In addition to parliamentary duties, Koponen holds the position of Municipal Councillor in Tuusula and is a member of the Municipal Executive Board since June 2021. Since March 2022, Koponen has also been a County Councillor for Keusote, serving as Vice Chairman of the Regional Rescue Board. In the corporate sector, Koponen is a Member of the Supervisory Board at Alko Oy and serves on the delegation of both the Itla Children’s Foundation and the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities. Furthermore, Koponen is a Deputy Member of the Executive Committee of the Inter-Parliamentary Union since June 2019.
