Elina Valtonen

Elina Valtonen is currently the Minister for Foreign Affairs at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland and a Member of Parliament since July 2014, serving on the Finance Committee. Valtonen has been an angel investor and co-founder of various companies since 2010 and held leadership roles such as Vice President of Kokoomus and Chairman of the Board at the Libera Foundation. Valtonen's earlier career includes significant positions in financial services, including Director at RBS Global Banking & Markets and Senior Analyst at Nordea Markets. Education includes a D.Sc. in Systems Analysis from Aalto University, an M.Sc. in Financial Economics from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu, and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Teknillinen korkeakoulu.
