Joakim Strand

Joakim Strand has served as a Member of Parliament in the Parliament of Finland since April 2015. Additionally, Joakim is a Board Member of the Football Association of Finland since November 2023 and has held the position of Chairperson of the Board at the Regional Council of Ostrobothnia from September 2017 to October 2024. From November 2012 to August 2024, Joakim was the Chairman of the City Council for the City of Vaasa. Other notable roles include Chairperson of the Board at EPV Energia Oy from April 2022 to July 2024, Board Member at Kvarken Link Ab since September 2015, Chairman of the Board at Vaasan Sähkö Oy from 2015 to July 2024, and Vice Chairperson of the Board at Kvarken Council EGTC from 2013 to July 2024. Joakim Strand holds a Master of Science in Economics from Hanken School of Economics and a Master of Laws from the University of Helsinki.
