Ville Skinnari

Ville Skinnari is a seasoned Finnish politician and lawyer, currently serving as a Member of Parliament since April 2015, with active participation in key committees including Foreign Affairs, Constitutional, and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. Skinnari held the role of Vice Chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Finland from February 2017 to August 2023 and served as Minister of Development and Trade from June 2019 to June 2023. Prior professional experience includes positions as Vice Chairman of the Board at Lahti Energia Oy, Counsel at Lexia Attorneys Ltd., and Managing Partner at Enterprise Institute Finland, among others. Education credentials include a Master of Laws in Commercial Law from Brunel University of London and a BA Hons in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from the University of Wolverhampton.
