Andre "Ziggy" Byrne

Andre Byrne started their work experience in 2011 as a Web Development intern at LastObelus Consulting. Andre then worked as a Junior Junior Web Developer at Webify Technology in 2012, where they focused on HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Andre also worked as a Front-end Developer intern at CoursAvenue in 2013, gaining experience with Backbone.js, Marionette.js, and other technologies. From 2013 to the present, they have been working independently under the hacker alias "arrogant gamer," designing and publishing videogames using Lua, C#, Javascript, and z80 assembly. In 2017, Andre joined Edvisor as a Staff Engineer, where they have specialized in Typescript, React, Vue, Meteor, Node, Yeoman, and GraphQL. Throughout their career, they have shown a passion for type safety, testing, and developer experience.

Andre Byrne began their education in 2009 at Langara College, where they studied Computer Science for two years. Andre then transferred to Simon Fraser University in 2011, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Andre completed their studies at Simon Fraser University in 2016.
