Lauren Gutierrez

Lauren Gutierrez currently serves as a Senior Security Awareness and Training Analyst at Edward Jones since October 2025. Prior to this, Lauren worked as a Cybersecurity Exercise Specialist at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency from July 2024 to September 2025 and as a Security Awareness and Training Analyst at K2United between June 2023 and June 2024. Earlier experience includes a role as a Cybersecurity Awareness and Training Coordinator at HacWare in early 2023 and as a Reading Specialist at Des Plaines School District 62 from August 2020 to July 2021. Lauren also has a background as an English Second Language Teacher at Chicago Public Schools from August 2014 to August 2020 and as a Primary Teacher for the Archdiocese of Chicago from August 2012 to August 2014. Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Facilities Management from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and two master's degrees from National Louis University, one in Reading Specialist and another in Elementary Education and Teaching.
