Matthew Jessop

Matthew Jessop is an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in decarbonisation projects and rotating equipment. Currently serving as the Decarbonisation Projects Principal Mechanical Engineer at Essar Oil (UK) Limited since February 2011, Matthew also holds the title of Essar Pension Trustee Director and leads a team of Reliability & Rotating Equipment Engineers. Additionally, Matthew is the HYNET Principal Mechanical Engineer at Vertex Hydrogen. Previous roles include director at TTE Apprenticeship Training Agency Limited, mechanical engineer at Shell, rotating equipment engineer at Ineos, senior mechanical engineer at Imperial Chemical Industries, and project engineer at ICI. Matthew earned a MA(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
