Hans Bantilan

Hans Bantilan is a Principal Data Scientist at EF Education First since March 2021, where responsibilities include setting the vision for data science within EF Educational Tours and fostering a data science culture throughout the organization. Prior roles at EF include Staff Data Scientist and Senior Data Scientist, focusing on cross-domain data science solutions and marketing initiatives. Earlier experience includes a Fellowship in Data Science at Pivigo, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Queen Mary University of London, and a Stephen Hawking Advanced Fellowship at the University of Cambridge, contributing to significant advancements in gravitational collapse and black hole simulations. Academic credentials include a PhD in Physics from Princeton University and dual BA degrees in Physics and Mathematics from Carleton College.
