Karina Jaya-Ratnam

Karina Jaya-Ratnam has a diverse work experience in various roles within the advertising and marketing industry. Karina'smost recent position is the Client Director at eg+ worldwide, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Account Director (Senior) at The River Group from January to June 2023. Between July and December 2022, they served as the Project Management Lead (Group Account Director) at draftLine Europe. From August 2021 to July 2022, they were the Business Director at The Croc. In 2020, they held the role of Marketing, Communications & Events Director at The WealthiKarina'sNetwork, where they focused on empowering women economically. Before that, they worked as a Senior Account Director and was involved in developing brand campaigns and communication strategies at Formative Content, McCann Enterprise, BBH London, and Publicis. Karina also has experience as a Contract Senior Account Director at Quiet Storm Advertising.

Karina Jaya-Ratnam began their education at Grey Court School from 1985 to 1990, where they pursued and completed their GCSEs. Following this, they attended Richmond Upon Thames College of Further Education (RUTFC) from 1990 to 1993, where they achieved their A Levels. Karina'sA Level subjects included English Language and Literature, History, German, and Sociology, along with completing a German AS level. Later, Karina Jaya-Ratnam enrolled at the University of Gloucestershire from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained their BA Hons degree. During their time at the University of Gloucestershire, they focused on English as their major and also pursued a minor in Psychology. Additionally, they gained a TEFL qualification.
