Amr Farag

Amr Farag is an experienced professional in the fields of renewable energy and engineering. Currently serving as an intern at McKinsey & Company since November 2023, Amr previously held the position of GSE Planning Head at Egyptian Aviation Services E.A.S since December 2019. In addition, Amr contributed as a member of YOUNGO, focusing on climate finance from August 2023 to November 2023, while also leading a start-up company in the renewable energy sector as CEO between January 2020 and November 2023. Prior experience includes working as a Solar Engineer at Benban Aswan from October 2018 to January 2020, overseeing the installation of solar panels, and serving as a Senior Field Service Engineer at Carrier Corporation from November 2012 to July 2018, where responsibilities involved coordinating service operations. Amr holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Power Engineering from Ain Shams University, obtained between 2006 and 2011.
