Ashwini Kadam

Ashwini Kadam has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. They are currently serving as the Head of Analytical Development and QC at Eiger BioPharmaceuticals since December 2021. Prior to this, Ashwini worked as an Associate Director at Astex Pharmaceuticals (US) from December 2019 to December 2021.

Before joining Astex Pharmaceuticals, they held various roles at Nektar Therapeutics, starting as a Research Associate from May 2010 to June 2011. They then served as an Associate Scientist from June 2011 to January 2014, followed by a promotion to Senior Scientist from January 2014 to December 2019.

Ashwini's work experience also includes a position as a Research Engineer at VEXTEC Corporation from January 2006 to January 2008.

Ashwini Kadam obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Materials Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. This academic journey lasted from 2001 to 2006.
