Sara M. Azevedo

Sara M. Azevedo, MPA, CCEP, serves as the Director of Regulatory Affairs & Compliance at E. & J. Gallo Winery, leading a team of 24 in managing regulatory activities across 17 wineries, 3 distilled spirit plants, and 3 breweries in California. Sara possesses extensive experience in regulatory compliance, having held multiple positions within the same organization, including Senior Manager and Manager. In addition, Sara lectures on wine and brandy regulations at California State University, Fresno. Previous professional experiences include serving as a Presidential Management Fellow for the GSA and an intern with the U.S. House of Representatives. Sara's academic qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Stanislaus, and certifications in international food law from Michigan State University and wine law from the University of California, Davis.
