Rick Christophersen

Rick Christophersen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in arts management and administration. Currently serving as the Director of the Center for the Arts at El Camino College since February 2015, Rick provides creative direction and oversees programming, ensuring alignment with both college curricular goals and community needs. Prior to this role, Rick held the position of Administrative Director for the College of Performing Arts at Chapman University from March 2001 to July 2014, where responsibilities included managing operations, budgeting, and coordinating fundraising efforts. Rick's career began in the mortgage industry as an Investor Conduit and Senior Underwriter at Ameriquest Mortgage Company from April 1997 to March 2001. Rick holds a Master of Arts in Arts Management from the Drucker School of Management and dual bachelor's degrees in Vocal Performance and French from Chapman University.
