Aadityaa Padmanabhan is a skilled electrical engineering professional with significant experience in protective relay systems and project management. Currently serving as a Technical Leader at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) since January 2022, Aadityaa previously held the position of Project Engineer - Protection at SEL from August 2012 to December 2021. In that role, Aadityaa led teams in designing and implementing protective relay systems while managing a team of six to ensure timely project completion within budget. Additionally, Aadityaa performed various studies to determine protection requirements, installed and verified relay operations, and designed protective relay panels for high-value equipment. Prior to this, Aadityaa worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, focusing on fault location in distribution networks and the effects of distributed generation on protection schemes. Aadityaa holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University.
