Didier Banner

Didier Banner has over three decades of experience in research and development, primarily within the energy sector. Since January 2003, Didier has held multiple managerial roles at EDF, including International Partnership R&D Manager, Digital Simulation Program Manager, Thermal Engineering Project Manager, and R&D Challenges Project Leader. Prior to EDF, Didier served as the Head of Engineering Department at Zkusebnictvi A.s. from January 2001 to December 2002 and led the R&D Group at EDF from October 1991 to December 2000. Didier began a career in research and development as an engineer at Saint-Gobain from January 1988 to September 1991. Academic credentials include a PhD in Heat Transfer and a Master of Engineering in Energy, both obtained from Ecole Centrale Paris, alongside earlier education at Lycée Saint Louis.
